We work with PCT employed staff which include a team of district nurses, health visitors, chiropodists, a hearing aid technician and school nurses who now work from the St Peter’s Centre which is almost next door to the practice. We also work with a psychologist, a benefits advisor, an employment advisor, Syhleti (Bangladeshi) speaking advocates and a midwife who does the community antenatal clinic.

    IF YOU HAVE A PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENT PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE SURGERY, THE DOCTOR WILL CALL YOU INSTEAD. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO TAKE A CALL AT YOUR APPT TIME. ANY OTHER APPT, YOU WILL BE CALLED BEFOREHAND TO CHECK YOU ARE SAFE TO ATTEND.

    PLEASE CALL THE SURGERY IF YOU REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT & YOU’LL BE GIVEN A TELEPHONE CONSULTATION.

  • Medical Certificate/Sick Note

    You only need a doctor’s certificate if you are sick for more than 7 days. Until 7 days you can use a self-certificate available on HMRC webpage.

    For a doctor’s certificate of more than 7 days, submit an online request.

    If you need support to stop smoking, please book an appointment with our smoking Cessation Advisor on Mondays between 3.30pm – 4.45pm.
