Important: Telephone System Fault
Dear patient
We would like to inform you that there has been a fault identified by BT with our telephone system including Automated System.
This has been reported on 04.11.19, which was investigated by our telephone system provider and BT. They identified the fault and confirmed that this was resolved on 08.11.19.
Unfortunately, we found out that patients still experiencing difficulties reaching us and calls were dropped during the weekend. We have raised another log to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
If you have difficulties reaching out of hours please call 111 to get non urgent advice, for urgent health support please call 999.
We have started the process to replace our current system and wish to complete the process as soon as possible.

Medical Certificate/Sick Note
You only need a doctor’s certificate if you are sick for more than 7 days. Until 7 days you can use a self-certificate available on HMRC webpage.
For a doctor’s certificate of more than 7 days, submit an online request.
