This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for refund requests related to private medical letters issued by The Wapping Group Practice.
1. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Private medical letters are considered a professional service and the fees cover the time, expertise, and resources required to create them. As such, refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
– The letter has already been issued and provided to the patient.
– The letter has already been drafted.
– The letter meets the specifications agreed upon at the time of request.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
Cancellation before completion: If the request is cancelled before the letter is drafted, a partial refund may be issued, minus an administrative fee.
Errors in the letter: If the letter contains factual errors due to our oversight, corrections will be provided free of charge. In rare cases where a correction is not feasible, a partial or full refund may be offered.
Non-Delivery: If the Practice is unable to complete the letter due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
3. Administrative Fee
All refund requests will be subject to an administrative fee of £10 to cover initial processing and preparation costs. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
4. Process for Requesting a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the letter’s issuance or payment, whichever comes first.

5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of approval. Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment originally used.
6. Limitations
No refunds will be provided for dissatisfaction with the content if the letter meets the agreed-upon specifications.
Refunds are not available for letters intended for purposes outside the scope discussed during the initial consultation.
