Threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against our staff or patients is unacceptable.
If a patient is violent or abusive we will warn them to stop. If they continue, we may exercise our right to remove them from our list of patients. This may be immediately, if necessary.
Zero tolerance
NHS Staff must be able to come to work without fear of violence, abuse or harassment from patients or their relatives. They have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. The NHS has a zero-tolerance attitude towards violence.
Violent, threatening, abusive or discriminating behaviour including shouting and swearing will not be tolerated at this practice towards staff or patients.
Anyone who acts in such a manner will be asked to leave the premises; the Police will be called and if you are a patient, you could be removed from our patient list.
Our staff are here to help you, please treat them with respect.
